Beer Brewing and Tasting
Join Susanne Paulus, assistant professor of Assyriology at the University of Chicago and Tasha Vorderstrasse, PhD'04, Oriental Institute Continuing Education Program Coordinator and Research Associate, while they take you on a tour of beer in the ancient world. Learn about ancient brewing techniques and have rare access to written evidence for beer in actual Oriental Institute cuneiform tablets. Experience a demonstration on how to make your own ancient beer and try different modern adaptations of ancient beers.
