Sold out-French Cooking Class: A Basque Thanksgiving
Enjoy a unique Thanksgiving menu! We pay tribute to the fearless Basque fishermen who sailed North American waters well before European settlers arrived. Guided by Madelaine Bullwinkel, AM'68, resident chef of the Alliance Française de Chicago, we will celebrate their robust cuisine with potato, leek and cod soup; roast turkey breast stuffed with chestnuts and wild mushrooms; potatoes in red wine; onion and pepper confit and, for dessert, an apple and quince tart.
