3Rd Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Bus Tour
Join the annual Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. bus tour, led by South Side activist and educator Timuel D. Black, AM'54.
During the day Timuel D. Black, AM'54, who worked directly with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, will share his wonderful stories about Dr. King and the Civil Rights Movement, particularly in relation to Chicago. Professor Black will be assisted by Bart Schultz, Senior Lecturer in the Humanities (Philosophy) and Director of the University of Chicago Civic Knowledge Project.

- 9:00am-9:45am Discussion with Timuel D. Black, AM'54 and Bart Schultz
- 9:45am-12:30pm Bus tour with stops to RainbowPUSH Coalition, the Faith Community of St. Sabina, and other sites important to Dr. King's work and legacy.
