Historic Northwest Neighborhood Tour with Lunch for UChicago Alumni

Enjoy the history and unique character of Chicago’s northwest neighborhoods.

Join fellow UChicago Alumni for an adventure via bus into cozy neighborhood locales in North Center, Avondale, Irving Park and Albany Park. Tour guide Amanda Scotese, AM ‘13, will point out historic elements from the bus, and guests will divide into teams for a visual scavenger hunt designed to inspire careful observation of the unique character of our three stops. You’ll visit two historic neighborhood bars and a homey ’70s pizza joint for a late lunch. Prizes will be won!

The tour ends in Irving Park, where guests can either get another drink or take a rideshare or public transit home.
