Alumni Club of Chicago Board of Directors Nominations Now Available

The Alumni Club of Chicago's Governance Committee is currently accepting applications to join the Alumni Club of Chicago's Board of Directors.

The Board of Directors of the University of Chicago Alumni Club of Chicago is seeking nominations of alumni to serve as directors.  Candidates should be thoughtful, creative, engaged with the University of Chicago community, and strongly committed to strengthening ties among alumni in the Chicago area and the University. 

The Alumni Club of Chicago includes all alumni of the University in the Chicago area.  The Club sponsors dozens of events annually, such as hosting talks by distinguished professors and alumni on academic, artistic, political, cultural, business, and other topics of interest; cultural events; meet-the-chef dinners, and wine- and beer-tastings; and tours – both of new facilities at the University and of various cultural institutions in and around Chicago.  These events foster new and deeper ties among alumni and the University.  The Club is governed by its Board of Directors.  Directors are selected by the Governance Committee of the Board, and serve for terms of two years, which can be renewed.
